Invited by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Meng Qinglin, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Sinoma-EC, led a team to Indonesia to attend the 'South-South Cooperation in Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Industry' project exchange activities.
The China-Indonesia Waste Heat Recovery Industry Exchange Meeting was successfully held in Jakarta, which was jointly organized by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China as an important part of the exchange of 'South-South Cooperation in Energy Saving and Environmental Protection Industry' project.
This meeting is to promote China's advanced waste heat recovery technology in the cement industry, accelerate China and India to carry out energy-saving technology exchanges and technical cooperation, and promote the green development of the international industrial sector as the theme, aiming to promote China's advanced technology and equipment to go out and promote the regional industrial green and low-carbon transformation and economic development, and to realize the mutual benefit and win-win situation. More than 60 representatives from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Finance, Indonesia's Ministry of Industry, Indonesia Cement Association and relevant organizations, enterprises and professional institutions from China and India attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Andi Rizaldi, Director General of Industrial Service Policy and Standardization of Indonesia's Ministry of Industry, Ding Zhijun, Deputy Director General of Energy Conservation and Comprehensive Utilization of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Zhou Yunrui, Industrial Development Officer of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, delivered speeches respectively. Delegates had active and fruitful exchanges on topics related to waste heat recovery and utilization technologies in the cement industry, the roadmap for decarbonization in the cement industry and the role of the cement industry in waste co-processing.
At the roundtable forum of the conference, Meng Qinglin said that Sinoma Energy Conservation, as a global leader in industrial waste heat utilization, has been making continuous breakthroughs and innovations in cement waste heat power generation technology. At present, the new generation of cement waste heat power generation technology independently researched and developed is at the leading level in the world in terms of waste heat utilization efficiency, intelligence and automation level. In recent years, Sinoma-EC has carried out extensive and in-depth cooperation with Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia, in the areas of waste heat and pressure utilization, domestic waste disposal and green energy, and achieved a series of fruitful results. As an active practitioner of China's 'One Belt, One Road' initiative and an active responder to 'South-South Cooperation', Sinoma-EC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Indonesian cement enterprises, and to contribute its technology and wisdom to realize the development goal of energy saving and carbon reduction in Indonesia's cement industry.
At the meeting, Zhang Fei, Deputy Director of International Marketing Department of Sinoma Energy Conservation Engineering Branch, made an experience exchange and technology sharing on behalf of the company on 'Fourth Generation of Waste Heat Power Generation Technology in Cement Industry', introducing in detail the technological advantages and application prospects of the company's new-generation waste heat power generation technology, which gained the high attention and recognition of the attending guests.
Meng Qinglin met with Jackson Tandiono, Senior Advisor to the President of Indonesia, who pointed out that Indonesia is rich in clean energy resources, especially in photovoltaic, geothermal energy and biomass resources utilization, and Sinoma Energy Conservation has leading technology and equipment and engineering experience in industrial waste heat and clean energy utilization. Meng Qinglin visited Minister Counselor Li Hongwei at the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. Meng Qinglin introduced Sinoma-EC's corporate development and development plan in Indonesia to Counselor Li Hongwei, and thanked the Economic and Commercial Office for its guidance and assistance to Sinoma-EC's business development in Indonesia. Li Hongwei said that China and India have friendly relations and fruitful bilateral economic and trade cooperation, with expanding trade volume and increasing cooperation in high-end projects represented by Yavan High Speed Railway. As the fourth largest country in the world in terms of population and a member of G20, Indonesia has great potential for development. The Economic and Commercial Office of the Embassy will provide support and assistance for the development of Chinese-funded enterprises in Indonesia, and hopes Sinoma-EC can further expand its business in Indonesia.
